Invisalign aligners are clear aligners, and you wear a certain number of trays. What they do is, over time, straighten your teeth and put them in the ideal position that you want.
The biggest benefit is they're clear, so you can't really see them, which is nice. Another big benefit is you can take them on and off to clean your teeth and brush your teeth. You can floss between them, and they're very comfortable. I've had them myself, and over time they'll get you the smile that you want. Invisalign aligners are great for both adults and teens alike.
How Long Do Invisalign Aligners Take?
Most patients are about 6 months to 18 months. It depends on the complexity and how close you are to correcting your bite to begin with. Usually, most patients switch trays out every two weeks. Every two weeks, either at nighttime or in the morning, you'll take the old trays out, throw them in the trash or put them away, and then you'll put a new set in.
